Solar Power Eases Price Rise Pain
The new financial year has brought new financial stress with
electricity price hikes in NSW taking effect from today. Electricity
prices will rise by up to 13% with the average annual electricity bill
increasing by up to $200. Compile that with other utility price rises
including gas and water and that adds substantial strain to the family
budget.
Installing solar power can protect families against these painful price
rises. Thanks to a number of fantastic incentives a solar power system
can potentially wipe out a home’s electricity bill and even make the
owner extra tax free income, depending on your power usage and the size
of system installed. NSW has the most generous solar electricity buy
back scheme in the country, offering almost four times the retail rate
for all the solar electricity your system creates.
“This means a solar power system can pay for itself in as little as
three years offering a 30% p.a. plus tax free return on investment” said
Adam Tesoriero, Director of SolarSwitch.
For example a 1.5kW system could make up to $1500 per year worth of
electricity, which is sold back to the electricity grid; this would more
than cover the average energy efficient home’s electricity bill.
SolarSwitch has installed over 2500 solar power systems. We pride
ourselves on installing quality systems, designed to offer a lifetime of
savings and peace of mind. We only use panels from reputable
manufacturers who have the quality controls, experience and heritage to
honour the promised 25 year output warranty, and the warranties are held

“We are proud to offer the most efficient solar panel in the world, the
300W SunPower panel, and the only Australian made and owned panels from
SilexSolar. We are also the master dealer for respected German
multi-national Conergy” said Mr Tesoriero.
