TERMS & CONDITIONS
A cancellation fee of $800 applies if the client chooses to cancel their order to cover the reasonable costs incurred by Solar Switch Pty Ltd.
Payments of over $1000 made by Mastercard or Visa attract a 2% surcharge payable by the customer.
This supply agreement DOES NOT include purchase and installation of the new meter, which will be charged to you by a private meter contractor following installation of the solar system. A standard meter install should be approximately $300.
I agree to assign the Solar Credits or RECs (Renewable Energy Certificates) earned by the above system to Solar Switch Pty Ltd as part of this supply agreement and above discounted price by way of a point of sale discount.
If the customer has elected to keep the Solar Credits or RECs without the point of sale discount then Solar Switch Pty Ltd accepts no responsibility for any change in the value of the RECs.
If the customer has received a rebate or rebate approval under the PVRP or SHCP on this or a previous system, or the RECs multiplier (Solar Credits Scheme) on a previous system, the customer is only entitled to the RECs single value.
Any performance figures indicated by Solar Switch Pty Ltd are given in good faith but are estimates only based on local weather patterns. Solar Switch accepts no liability if the system does not attain these estimates.
Due to the volatility of the solar panel market SolarSwitch reserves the right to provide different panels and/or inverters than those specified in this order form. The nearest equivalent panels and/or inverter will be supplied. This clause does not apply to SunPower panels.
Solar Switch Pty Ltd only recommends Clean Energy Council certified and insured installers. The installer is solely responsible for the workmanship and/or any damages during or resulting from the installation.
I understand that I may need to be billed by the energy provider that owns the grid in my area (i.e. not a retailer) in order to receive the solar electricity buy-back. Solar Switch accepts no responsibility if the customer is with the wrong retailer and does not receive the solar buy back. Please check with your retailer as to whether they provide the solar buy-back in your area and for any special related conditions.
I accept the above contract and conditions. The company reserves the right to accept or reject this contract.
